I have been in the Animal Medicine industry for 18 years. Working with Animals is my passion and all that I know. I started Volunteering when I was 12 and climbed the ladder within the industry. I treasure the long-term relationships that I develop with clients as we work together to ensure that the pets they love receive the best care possible and are always treated with kindness, compassion and respect. I love being the animals voice and being able to insure amazing animal healthcare to both my patient and their families.

When Im not working I spend most of my free time with my friends and family.
I have 20 years experience in the pet service industry. My passion has always been animals large and small. My goal is to show the love, respect and integrity that all of our clients and patients deserve.
My name is Akane, and I am originally from Tokyo, Japan. I have over 10 years of experience as a receptionist and billing specialist within human medicine in Japan. Previously I have owned cats in the past but had always wanted a large breed dog. When I moved to Washington I had finally found my dream breed and companion: And that is the German Shepherd, as to which now, I have three!!! Since then, I have truly become interested in veterinary medicine. I began my journey within the industry volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter as a dog walker and Veterinary assistant, and I realized how much I love working with animals. I eventually migrated to Broadway Animal Hospital as a full time Veterinary assistant where I am happy and passionate about what I do.

I have dedicated myself to the care and support of both animals and their owners, I hope to make a difference in someone's life everyday. There is no greater joy to me than helping an animal feel better.
